I'll say JJJ.

Been down in him this year, but this was a huge game.

KR too. Those boys play like that in he tourney, and we just may win a few games.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Tower913

JJJ - Credited with 4 steals, yet forced two others, one with deflection off Blueitts foot out of bounds, that goes as a turnover, not steal.  Xaiver narrowed lead early in 2nd half while JJJ was on bench.

Rowsey - Gamer.  Crafty.  Clutch free throw shooting and a couple of momentum breaking threes.

Reinhardt - Great shooting, solid with ball against press, a couple of nice assists/plays off the dribble.

Can't go wrong with any of the above.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Real tough call between JJJ and Rowsey. Would be happy with either one. I personally give it to Rowsey. Played very under control, only 1 TO. 20 points. 5 dimes. That steal was gorgeous. Sealed the game by grabbing the offensive board and calling time out. Also, it doesn't show on the score board but he was trash talking every X player out there. Got in their heads I think. But JJJ is every bit deserving as well.

Honorable mentions for Katin, Howard, and SammySplash.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

See game thread.

Rowsey:  162 Orating, 30 minutes, 20 points, 5 assists, one turnover, decent D.

As I watched it, my feeling was Rowsey.

But JJJ and Katin had very nice games.

Tempted to say JJJ for the way he has overcome the de-motivator's mind games.

JJ gets my vote. Solid on both ends, and rebounded nicely from his recent spotty performances.

MU86NC

JJJ all the way - one of his best all around games with very few mistakes....

BossplayaOtto

So many strong performances but my rankings are:

Rowsey
JJJ
Katin

Whichever way Rocky decides to go is fine with me.

Heck, Give to Marotta for his bench energy and impressive celebrations on the big 3's then we'd only have Franklin left to round out the active roster for SOtG.

WayOfTheWarrior

Triple Jay! Way to bring it. Need that effort down the stretch!

Rowsey, keep doin you kid! Keep doin you!

Rowsey.  Loved the no thought 30 footer.  Loved the pump fake / get fouled / make 3 free throws.  Really enjoyed how he didn't waste any shots even though he knew he had the hot hand.

I am quite sure he leads the nation in drawing 3-shot fouls. Frankly, he might already have set the NCAA single-season record in that department. He did travel once today when he thought he could do it but failed ... and yet later he was able to do it. Amazing!

JJJ played a very nice game and gets my nod. KR was clutch as well.

I'm not going to argue against JjJ, Rowsey, or KR.    All 3 played well and are worthy.

JJJ and Rowsey were awesome.  Nod to JJJ because he was benched in the first match up.

Wowsy

That shot in the first half.....The 35 to 40 footer where his foot was almost on the central court "X" drew "Oohs" from the crowd and then silence......

It was a statement shot.....and just deflated "X"

Drive them off the 3 point line......Shoot ....Drive them off the center court line......LOL!

jsglow

Already voted. Just reinforcing my case.

- shot from practically the 'X'
- the now famous 3 point foul
- critical 3 pointer late that bounced off the rim, what, 6 times.  Who can do that?
- very important 'know and play the defense' steal down the stretch
- rebound during the backbreaking 80 second possession
- court awareness to call a critical 'reset' timeout at that moment in the land of the giants

Rowsey played a great college basketball game.  He committed one mistake, a turnover.

And he walked away like it was expected.
