I thought that was over and back. Shouldn't the ref have blown the whistle before Rowsey touched it?

Probably would have been if Rowsey hadn't touched it first.

This half is on Wojo...PC keeps killing them in the paint..so does he switch to zone?? Nope. Just let them keep doing it. This is what frustrates me so much about Wojo.

Apparently I forgot the whistle isn't blown until a player touches it or it goes out. Now I'm more annoyed about the play.

Down only 1, felt a hell of a lot worse than that, that's encouraging

Down one after playing pretty sloppy. Could be much worse. Gotta make some adjustments and come out strong in the second half.

Guru don't worry. We make the halftime corrections and take this one home. Down by one on the road vs a hot team ain't bad.

Made it to half and Markus still has 2 fouls. Clean up the D and this will work out.

Part of that was the announcers, at least for me.

Agreed Heroes. Far from a great half for MU and down one. Could be a lot worse.

Officiating and announcers well below average today.

We are only down 1....and frankly it was the sloppy, brain fart turnovers on the offensive end that killed us.  Game plan seems fine to me on defense...just take care of the ball better and get Luke more PT to increase rebounding and inside d and we should be fine.

Marcus only one playing under control.  Slow down, rebound the basketball, hold onto the basketball, and fight to the final buzzer.

PS Cartwright has yet to dribble the basketball without carrying it...in his entire career.

Apparently Barandon Haywood is a HUGE Providence guy!  2 FT's and 0 O Rebounds and only down 2 is a good sign.

It won't matter. Four MU guys battle for the rebound against 1 PC guy and who gets the rebound? You guessed it, PC. We have to be the worst at getting in position for the rebound. If we get cold we are toast.

Our defense sucks, because our guys cannot execute.

Is Wojo capable of cleaning up the D?  MU is one good coaching adjustment away from a huge win.

Markus is leading the team wit 3 turnovers. He's not really under control. He can, however, shoot the frickin lights out.

It's also physical limitations. Our big guys are not quick are particularly physical.

Our small guys are, well, small.

And out guys who do have some athleticism are not strong.

Still should be better, though.

It we had an athletic, physical 4 (like a Marcus Jackson) it would make a huge difference.

Were down by 8 at the half in the first meeting (lost by 1). Hopefully we can have a similar 2nd half, and take this thing home.

Should have been much worse considering Howard had 2 early fouls, and our team had 8 turnovers in the 1st half..

Being "small" is no excuse for turning the ball over.
