I peaked over at Holy Land of Hoops and the Seton Hall fans contend that if the refs called the game even remotely fair than Seton Hall would have won by double digits.

It is always funny how the refs are always against every fan's team.

That's laughable.  Last night was one game where I thought the refs were very poor but certainly not in the way Hall fans are thinking.

Marquette was called for 4 more fouls and SHU went to the line 6 more times. Not really sure where their gripe is

The main three that I saw were the Carrington charge, Delgado getting called for a travel after being fouled (the one travel they called on him all night despite him not taking a dribble all game), and Delgado not getting the call in OT when the ball went out of bounds to Marquette.

Was that the one the officials reviewed? I remember one that looked really close but was called in our favor. They never replayed it at the BC, but I immediately thought the best part of the play was that as they reviewed it, the original call on the floor was in our favor.

Honestly, I thought the refs were at their worst in our regard in the first half. Lots of contact uncalled down low, while every ticky-tack little thing went against us. Foul disparity at the half had to be 12-6 or so.

And let's keep in mind SH was fouling to put us on the line in regulation and OT, so the foul and FT discrepancy was really even bigger than the final numbers show.

Thanks, wades. I remember looking up and seeing it at 10-6 in the BC, but they stop tallying team fouls once you get to the double bonus, and I knew we had at least a couple more after that.

It was. They weren't mad that it went to us. They were bad that they didn't call a foul on us before that.

It is what is. We thought Seton Hall was commiting a ton of over the backs and we were playing really good inferior defense. They thought that their guys were grabbing perfectly legal rebounds and that we were hacking them in the post. Truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Though as the home team it should go more towards our side
