I do NOT believe the officials granted him a time out however. It was a dead ball situation, and I know he didn't check into the game at the scorers table either. That should have been a "T" on Providence. You HAVE to check in before entering the game.  :P

When recruits came to campus, he said that’s what the Providence players did. They would find a willing female to show the recruits a “good time.”

Peterson claims that the Providence coaches “would tell us to have a good time but be careful and stay out of trouble. They knew we were going to show him some love with a female.”

That’s exactly what Peterson did. He called a female who the Providence players called numerous times to perform oral sex on recruits. According to Peterson, “She always says that’s her hobby. That’s what she likes to do. She wants to be a porn star.”

How many recruits does Peterson recall her performing oral sex on? “Let’s just say she’s in double figures.”

The incident took place in Peterson’s living room. Peterson lived with teammates Brian McKenzie and Marshon Brooks, but according to Peterson neither McKenzie nor Brooks were there that night. One of his teammates, who Peterson chose to remain anonymous, was present. That player was a senior at the time.

“I was doing what they did to me when I was in the recruiting process,” said Peterson. “Every time a recruit visits, the coaches would ask us if we can take them out and show them a good time.”

After the incident, one of the kids involved told his mother about how good of a time he had at Providence and confessed to her that he and his friends had received oral sex from a female. The mother then became enraged and told the President of Providence College about the incident her son had described.

I remember this it was a bummer Peterson was really good and paired with marathon brooks the following year they actually coulda been decent

  in dental school, we had this girl who earned a steady, reliable income winning amateur night at rickies so often, it wasn't fair.  she was also known to stick around for "extra tutoring" during lunch hours and after class. she was also a regular on the pool table at weekend frat "study clubs"  yup, bring your own stick. then dr/sister tilk got wind of her special talents and was not pleased.  she wasn't really expelled, but traded to Loyola dental(which has since closed) for a playa to be named later ;)

  she did go on to become a dentist, but it was short lived believe it or not.  talk about giving new meaning to the procedure-"drill & fill" though, eyn'a?

Are you saying a female student was asked to leave school because she liked to have sex? Unless she was a teaching assistant and having sex with her students or something,  that's really concerning. Were  the male students she was having sex with also asked to leave?

This isn't an accusation, I'm just making sure I understand the story.

  in dental school, we had this girl who earned a steady, reliable income winning amateur night at rickies so often, it wasn't fair.  she was also known to stick around for "extra tutoring" during lunch hours and after class. she was also a regular on the pool table at weekend frat "study clubs"  yup, bring your own stick. then dr/sister tilk got wind of her special talents and was not pleased.  she wasn't really expelled, but traded to Loyola dental(which has since closed) for a playa to be named later ;)

  she did go on to become a dentist, but it was short lived believe it or not.  talk about giving new meaning to the procedure-"drill & fill" though, eyn'a?

real chili remembers this one from her formative years at schroeder and we discussed a little bit a few years ago

 did she go to providence for undergrad?

Are you saying a female student was asked to leave school because she liked to have sex? Unless she was a teaching assistant and having sex with her students or something,  that's really concerning. Were  the male students she was having sex with also asked to leave?

Well, not just for having sex.  Her grades weren’t the best and rumor had it that one or MORE adjunct “professors” were tripping over each other to help her out. Some to the point of actually doing her lab work for her.  She would turn in these beautifully carved wax teeth.  then, when we had a practical, such as carving a tooth out of wax right in the lab in a prescribed amount of time, her wax tooth looked more like a phallic than a cuspid if ya know what I mean.  One of the adjunct docs I know of was told that he was no longer needed.  As for any of the others?  It was all handled very discreetly. As I said, they didn’t expel her but traded for future considerations.  It does raise a question as to how she got into dental school to begin with.  She must “interview” really really well, and was pretty good with her hands, but otherwise...

Gotcha. I hope those professors were disciplined if true. That's really problematic

Im glad.  Because unless she told the person showing the video "yes you can show it to anyone you want to" that would be a crime. Consenting to make the video is not the same as consenting to having it distributed to random (or even specific) people. Can't tell you how many knuckleheads end up in my office because they don't understand that.

Pretty sure they were reprimanded in some way, consistent with the way these were handled back in 1983.  maybe this was MU’s “Weinstein” moment🤷🏼‍♂️
