Did we have a game like this during any recent NCAA tourney year?

Vandy at home.

Louisville just about every year.

Etc.

So yes.

Where are our great shooters? We have a lot of options so the entire team can't possible go cold.

We're not cold. We're just not taking threes. Though inside, Luke has had at least three bunnies bounce in and out.

Who said that?

We have a bunch of fans who have been sitting on their thumbs the first 2 games and now suddenly we're getting blown out and out of the woodwork they come, sounding like a bunch of 3 year old babies because we're going to lose a game.

Thank you. 20 minutes is a lot of basketball. Even 1 minute is a lot to a team facing Georgetown!

Gut check time.  Let us see what the team is made of.

Then there's hope, just sucks in the moment

It seems like every pass Michigan makes is to an open man or someone who creates space to be open. Every MU pass goes to someone with a Michigan guy immediately closing, giving the MU guy no room to get a shot off.  We are that slow and they are quick.

I'm getting old. I can't remember.

Norm

Was MU really favored by 1 going in to this game?

I think this game shows our lack of height is going to hurt this year. If we don't take care of the ball that makes it worse.

chapman

50, ugh.  Have we practiced the zone yet this year, or is that always implemented after we get wrecked?

we ain't just losing, we are getting our arses kicked on espn. mu fans are getting restless. if the team keeps playing like this against competitive teams and the losses start piling up it will get worse. getting recruits only gets a coach so far. at some point you've got to win

I mean, there's losing a game and then there's this. Our alternates should be brown so it's less embarrassing as we crap ourselves.

ecompt

Fischer looks like he has never defended a pick and roll in his life. One of the worst defensive halves I have seen MU have in quite awhile.

Have we lost yet?

It's a pattern. Some coaches know how to coach defense and some do not. Wojo does not. Defense is atrocious. Wide open shots every possession.

Louisville just about every year.

Etc.

So yes.

This.

We're clearly getting beat, but the talent between these two is much closer than the score indicates. Bad as we've been, Michigan really isn't all that impressive.

mug644

We've been a second half team all season. So, we've got 'em right where we want 'em.

Time to start shooting from the outside and stop relying on Fischer, whose shot is not on tonight.

Mutaman

Didn't think it was possible to match their last performance in the Garden, but they have.

nyg

14 turnovers, 11 field goals made.  Not a good ratio.  Believe 4 screen fouls and 3 offensive fouls.

Pick and rolls at first, then just like last year double team, kick out for open three.  Defensive strategy the same and sort of not working.

Rheinhardt had 3 points, 3 fouls and 3 turnovers.

MU only took like five outside shots, everything else was drives which were missed or altered by Michigan,s size.  Just abit perplexed about that.

Hope the size factor and lack of a big PF doesn't hurt team all year, because Heldt is just not ready.

Wojo will have nice discussion with the guys and maybe come out fighting a little better.

AlienWarrior

not a very disciplined effort, lol

Problem is there are lot of gutless fans out there.

Michigan's defense pretty much smothering them on the perimeter.  Very few open looks for us.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.
