Great - https://twitter.com/marquettembb/status/784581485043019776

Looking closely they are bumblebee unis made legal by fading lines across jersey!!

One of the tweets say we will have special N7 uniforms for the Western Carolina game.  Based on some googling, N7 appears to be an organization that supports sports in Native American communities.  This has to be tied to the old Warrior name and imagery, doesn't it?

jesmu84

Interesting cut/fit. As a fan, I like wearing a jersey with a long sleeve underneath to watch games. But I don't think you can really wear these fits in that casual manner. It would look very strange

I would be surprised. Here's a look at some of the proposed N7 uniforms from other schools this season:

Maybe I don't know enough about Nevada, New Mexico, or Oregon State history, but I don't recall them having any native mascot tradition (too lazy at midnight to Google). To me, just looks like a nod to Native American history and athletics from Nike. I think it's as likely because Cohen is on the team as anything to do with our Warrior history.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

I like the number above the Marquette. I also love the nod to the bumblebees. Most importantly, I think the players love them and recruits will love them. Very unique design.

TAMU

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

WarriorFan

I'm glad they're unique... but they look like they were designed by a committee.

A.  A horse designed by a committee

I wanted one clear throwback element.  Number in circle or full bumblebee.

ChitownSpaceForRent

Y'all are such sweater vests. Cut is meh, but the design is great.

DomJamesToTheBasket

Went way too far back in the time machine for my taste.  Peach basket era.

The fact the I see so many complaints here and on Facebook means that Nike got it right.

In 3-4 years, I'm sure everyone will be disappointed when we go away from these and happily criticize the next new thing  ;D

4everwarriors

I'm feelin' it. It's cuttin' edge, which is what Marquette always was and should be. Y'all youngnas quit actin' like old farts and start thinkin' outside da box, hey?
"Give 'Em Hell, Al"

The Lens

I like them. I just hope we have Nike designing the next ones because we should not be waiting 8 more years for new uniforms. That's our tradition, constantly evolving.

Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

RushmoreAcademy

I like them.
As long as we win they can wear whatever they want.

Dr. Blackheart

Tight fit not new, hey.  I also think the new faux belt design on the shorts go back to this era with the buckle.  Me likely the new design.  I hated when players rolled the band on the shorts the past few seasons.

Classic.

Sooooo scoop.......so good.

FJM on suicide watch??
Expectations not live up to to the billing?

Haha. No no I like them. I think  so I'm not a fan of the cut. But the graphic that explains all the nuances on the jersey is great. I'm surprised by how small they look. But I like them.
I also think anytime a new jersey comes out there is going to be negativity. It's new, it's not what we're used to. The players like them and that's a good thing! Other teams are going to talk about them at games because they are different.

Bespoke uniforms - nice idea.  Less good for typical fan wear. :)

MUEng92

On the bright side, it should keep fat, middle aged guys from wearing jerseys in public.  I hope, no, pray!!

PuertoRicanNightmare

DUNKS45

I like them and it seems the players do too.

Frenns Liquor Depot

I love them - they are unique while still having some history.

Cut is different but isn't it the same as the USA unis from the olympics.

Need 5 years to judge a uniform.

Still like the Bumblebees. These will take some "getting use to".
