Welp, it's a slow week and I can only deal with so many threads about the same topics. As a Chicago resident, I am planning on going to the game with the fiance and a few friends. Tix are through Marquette so I'll be in that section (although the exact seats depend on what my buddy got us).

Who all will make the wonderful commute to the ~~Rosemont Horizon~~ Allstate "Pedro Cerrano Good Hands and Hats For Bats" Memorial Arena?

I'll be there, is there a bar most go to before hand like Doba's or that one huge german place? Last year I came right from work so I didn't have time to make it to a pregame.

There's a Marquette event at Hofbrauhaus pregame. I don't know if you have to buy tickets or if you can just go and drink, but there will be MU fans there.

I'll be there. Luckily (or unluckily) I've been able to attend the last two games at DePaul because my former roommate lives about 5 minutes from the Allstate Arena.

I'll be there. Leaving the family at home and going with two of my old roommates.
Bought the cheap $10 seats and will just move to one of the many empty seats of my choosing when the game starts.
Pregame is literally breakfast at Tiffany's. Tiffany's restaurant in Des Plaines.

I will be set the reception before the game at hofbrauhaus in rise out, then at the game with a buddy about 12 rows up Row L I think - behind the MU bench.

DePaul can't move into that new arena soon enough. Pre-gaming turns to Reggie's, Carbon, and Lao Sze Chuan.

Downtown Rosemont isn't that bad in that little circle plus River's casino. I mean I wouldn't go out there living in the city but it's better than 99% of the suburbs.

Carbon, under the expressway, is pretty awesome. Haven't been to the other location.

We're going on the bus from MU. Starts with breakfast @ Mis Katies Diner...Then The bus goes to the Marquette event at Hofbrauhaus pregame. Don't know where our seats are tho..
