You really think MU had any chance of winning that game once X made the run?

Xavier couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. That's the only reason the margin was single digits. MU got handled by them.

Okay you're right Marquette sucked for 35 minutes, of which they gave up a 21-0 run in, and still lost by 8 to a top 5 team in the country. That must've been one hell of a five minute stretch that we played well for.

It was fun. They were up 9 at one point. There was music at timeouts. Duane didn't suck. It was great.

The crowd sounded fine on TV. Let's face it, a 21-0 run is going to take people out of the game.

My thought exactly.  For all practical purposes the game was over at that point.  Sure a comeback is possible but you've really have to have blue/gold sunglasses to think it'll happen.

Look, I'll admit that 3 years of losing basketball has taken it's toll on me.  I'm way less interested than I was when we were winning.  The drive is long and watching 2nd half extended garbage time (think Iowa) is way less fun than other things I could be doing.  We certainly garner enjoyment from seeing kids, friends, etc. but there's a limit.

BTW, any of you see chick's fabulous pic from yesterday?  Now there's MU's most ardent fan.  An atta boy to the first of you who know what I'm taking about.

In Big East play, Traci Carter is our leader in three point FG% at .333.

MARQUETTE couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. That's the only reason their Lead got to DOUBLE digits.

FIFY..... 8-)

74-66 is a double digit margin?
