Most MU fans are too young to remember the Hughes twins.

I think most MU fans remember their dad more than them.

Rod Grosse and Joe Nethen were the original Ivory Towers.

Followed by Roman Mueller and "Biggie" Clausen.

Rod Grosse and Joe Nethen were the original Ivory Towers.

Grosse certainly was stiff enough to play the part.

Nethen needs a qualifier that the nickname was not academically inspired.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Was he the guy signaling that Marquette was number one after we beat Wisconsin at home?

Is any one else thinking that not only will Henry be gone, but the way Luke is playing he might be gone too after this season.

I don't think that Luke is quite there, and he's not showing yet in mock drafts.  Continued strong showings could change that, but I think that he'll need another year.

I am not going to worry about Luke leaving unless he suddenly shows the ability to hit a 12 foot jumper.   Right now, I don't think he can score in the NBA except on put backs.

Has the awesome tandem of Copa and Downing been erased from the MU history books?

There is zero chance this occurs.  Well, nothing is ever zero, so 0.56%.  I'm 99.44% pure on this.

IIRC, Roman Mueller and Rod Grosse were around at the same time briefly.   14 ft and 425 lbs of projects.

The Scott Merritt to Henry's Dwyane, if you will.

You are a bad, bad man.  Those were my years at MU, a very dark time indeed for men's hoops.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

Careful who you call crazy!  Him and his significant other used to post here occasionally.
