Alhough I'm not nearly at the point of trying to figure out how to charter a jet to the Big East tournament (yet), I feel absolutely worthless in the office today.

Is anyone else amped up far beyond what would be considered typical (or healthy) for tonight?

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I am just pumped to have college hoops back.  The time in between when the baseball regular season ends and CBB starts is a dark time.  I have to pretend to like football alot more than I really do.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Rocking the Marquette half-zip in the office today
Sent my 3-yr. old boy to day care in his MU tee
Brought the '77 national champs banner up from the basement this morning (and ignored my wife's objections)
Picking up a growler after work and having my alumni neighbor over tonight
Our version of real chili is already simmering

Hoping to bang out a few deliverables by early afternoon and then read up on Belmont, which is making me increasingly nervous about tonight.

Galway Eagle

I have a youtube playlist with every pregame video since 2005 plus some others and I've been watching that all morning. Pretty much useless for work today.  If anybody wants to get hyped up and be useless at work here it is.

Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

And Jay Bee, you are always welcome to stop by...game days only.

Fair warning, keep the kid at daycare if BeeJay's gonna be heading over.

Today would be a great day to be a politician.  Get no work done...but nobody would notice any difference.

Where are you, again?

I took today off - no sense in even trying to be productive today.

But I do have a major issue for tonight.. have a date at 6pm... told her we're not staying out past 9, but am aiming to have her back at the crib by 7:58pm. I *might* talk to her during timeouts.

You really should wait until she's sleeping in a toddler bed before keeping her up much past 7:30p.

Aren't you supposed to be at my house at 7:30 to cut my grass, or help work on a car, or something like that?

Unfortunately I am speaking in Seattle today and on a plane home during the game. And Chicos, no DirectTV on my flight home.

What can a dedicated Warrior do?

I haven't done any work all day... I have had 2 successful nervous poops so far though... If that counts for something?

Make it 3 for Henry's first career triple double.

I'm in St. Paul.  Aren't you in Woodbury?  I sort of considered coming over for the Italy games.  If you bring your date maybe she can babysit.

I bring my girlfriend to most of the games and she pretty much has accepted that anything she needs to say has to be said during the media timeouts, otherwise I'm in another zone.

Nervous poops?  Is that a real thing?  I mean, I'm all too familiar with the I-didn't-sleep-enough-poop, but I've never heard of nervous poops.

Also, have you ever had an unsuccessful nervous poop?

Multiple properties, bruh. I have recently moved to the NW suburbs and unfortunately won't get to have real chili over for games as often, but do have a nice access to a private pub w/huge TV at the bar, pool table, virtual golf, etc. all in the room. May have to throw an MU game watching event one of these days.

But, depending on where you are.. I may be just as close as I was when I was in Woodbury.
