I think by happy, Marquette84 means more content.  One can never really be happy with a loss but content with one is a possibility if the team plays hard and are up against a superior opponent.  I want MU to go undefeated every year but I know there are going to be those games we lose.  As long as we lose them in a manner where the other team out performed us and played better, I'm okay with that. It's when we beat ourselves that myself and other fans gripe about the loss.

I am very happy with the win. However, to be a big win in my mind it would have to have an impact on recruiting. If Wilson and the other players from Wisconsin pick UW over MU than the win, while nice, was not very important.

UW was not itself. No Tucker. No experienced backcourt. Bo Ryan made some coaching mental farts, too.

If that's the case, then UW is not itself all season.

That's like saying North Carolina is not theirselves because they don't have Jordan.

Tucker's already left. This is the team Bo recruited for 07-08.
