I like this year's video.  Has an intense vibe to it.  May they erase the 2012 video from history.

I like the music and lighting/footage, but it's the fake crowd shot is what got me.  I understand the need to have practice footage with such a great incoming group but to add the fake fan interaction was cheesy at best.

If you acknowledge we're not going to change the Golden Eagles moniker.....that's the most bad a$$ golden eagle we've used.  It's a step.

I always thought it would be cool if they had a trained golden eagle fly around before the game and then land on its falconer's (eagler's?) arm.  Is that a thing?

Nothing compares to Pray. They should just redo a version of that each year. This one...I don't know, feels kind of weak.

I kinda like this one. I think for me the darkened BMO Harris gives a new beginning feel. Clearly only snippets of actually game footage are possible.  And incorporating the students is a nice touch. Having a real eagle fly around and scare the pants off Providence (among others) would be fun.

They were unsurprisingly better than last year's actual student section.

LOL we could train the eagle to divebomb Cooley.  He'd have to go back to the locker room to change his pants.

That one was decent but I didn't think it was exceptional. It beat the failed attempt at street ball from 2011. I'd rank them as 1) 09 (pray). 2) 10 (i am hustle) 3) 12 beats bus 4) this one 5) 11 street ball 6) last years 7) 13 8) 06 giants around Milwaukee and the worst were the old videos where it'd be thunderstruck or fatboy slim playing as the Marquette logo goes across the screen.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I think last year's was very good. The team was bad, but I liked the video.

I thought the speech in it was good but didn't like the actual video itself. The players hanging out doing flips and stuff just wasn't much hype to me.

Exactly my thought.  Is there a big new uniform reveal that they are trying to keep secret?  If not the practice uniforms in this year long video was a bad idea in my opinion.

That was what - two seconds?  You must be a video production connoisseur.

What the game videos need is a shot of a Golden Eagle dragging a Wildcat, a Bulldog, a Hoya (whatever that is), and a Friar off a cliff to their deaths!!!!  (The Blue Demon will already be down there on the rocks).

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

"I think this kid is special, he's really special."  Does Thomas do over the top anywhere near as well as Duke's Dickie?

Besides, like it or not we're Duke West now.

It's a bit too sociopathic for my liking, and I don't want PETA to show up to the games, but I do like the "blue demon is already down there" touch.  Well done.  He's just laying down there, still barely alive, moving ever-so slightly, holding the deed to Oliver Purnell's Lincoln Park home.

More of a cheese connoisseur.  It just struck me as being horribly staged.

Not speaking from personal experience, but i've been told that the wrong :02 can ruin an otherwise pleasant 1:05 experience.

I think the best part about the "street ball" video was Homer's announcing during the game clips.

I've been asking for this for over three years.  They keep saying that already happens (without the falconer) and pointing me to this guy:
