He will have to earn his minutes......obviously as a junior he will get that opportunity ..... last year Shaka wasn't adverse to benching him or reducing his minutes if his play wasn't up to standards.

This season Owens will be fighting with more guys for those minutes.........if he isn't playing well Shaka can go with Ian, Egbueno, Walker or Phillips.

Not all of those guys need to be capable........but I feel good that 1 or 2 of them will be.

Well, he was at about 15 last year, so some progression might put hi in the 20 -25 range.

This team will be significantly better though, so I'd expect the same minutes even with continued progression.

Just now seeing that on Donovan Davis' IG post for Wisconsin, Kam and Stevie are both actively promoting MU in the comment section 😂 Looks like Stevie's been doing so in other posts of his as well.

I don't want to read too far into it, but it seems Davis mostly 'likes' the fan comments that are either pro-MU or pro-badgers. Also think it's funny that, in the Wisconsin post, he liked a comment under Stevie's which said, "I don't see a world where Marquette isn't the place to be".

Some speculation I have read.....Trying to put it together....There is talk about a re-classification....Would this kid be a qualifier????
AKA....Could he graduate from H.S. early and re-classify????

Maybe that's why MU never offered. Once Duke offered it would be all over.  He looked pretty good to me when I saw him play but I know some others here were not convinced.

"I'm probably going to make a decision in the next week or so and will have a date for that coming out tomorrow on when I'm going to do it."
