Maybe, but you're overlooking the undeniable fact that Gard "gets it done."

Gard has put together a good semi pro team of older players.

Yes, but does Shaka get it done? That is the most important question.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

He wants the blue blood offer..... so he can tell them "NO!" .  8-)

Kager isn't Kon.

Throughout the high school season, many of the programs who began recruiting and tracking Lyons closely in the summer have increased their efforts as the next nine months will be pivotal in gaining ground as leaders begin to establish themselves.

"I'm definitely trying to catch a Virginia game. I've been supposed to go down there for a bit now, but the schedules just kept not lining up. I want to get out to Marquette, too. Alabama just offered recently, so I'd like to get down there of course.

Eerily similar.  Finesse, 6-10, three point shooting specialists, but not Steve Novak caliber.

I'll take a wild guess and say that Kager is a much better ballhandler and passer than either. He plays on a very talented and unselfish HS team. MU could use some high bball IQ players. He has an offer from Purdue.

So to speak...

I have no idea how tall he is other than he's at least a couple inches taller than Kon.

I don't think anyone predicted how good Kon would be. The hoops IQ for this family is off the charts. It'll be interesting to see if any team stays within 20 of WLHS in the State tournament.

Don't care.  He's a big and Purdue is interested, so we should be.

Joey was supposed to be better than Sam.

Who said Kager is better than Kon? I'm guessing he won't be nearly as good. That said, Kon is better than any MU player since Wade so his "not as good brother" could be a good player for MU.  MU needs some guys who know how to play. The team bball IQ currently is not great.

I also suspect that the Knueppels will not be the head cases that Joey Hauser was.

Though he's been advertised as more of a wing.

My point is you shouldn't base how good a player is based on how good his brother is.

I did.

Kager is not Kon, nor is he anywhere near it.  Kon was way more physical, way more skilled, and way more athletic.  There's a reason he was a 5 star, top 20 recruit that was dominating top 100 camps and some analysts thought would lead Duke in scoring, ahead of Flagg.  And there's a reason Kager is mostly regarded as outside of the top 100, even with having the last name Knueppel.

I'd be fine with him coming to Marquette.  He's not some can't miss prospect like Kon was, though.
