Egbuonu plans to narrow his list at the start of the school year, and a final decision could come shortly after the holidays.

"I want to cut my list at the beginning of school," Egbuonu said. "The decision will probably come sometime after Christmas. It'll come down to development, relationships with the coaches, and just knowing who I'm going to be with for the season and making sure it's right for me and my family."

Auburn made a strong impression during Egbuonu's unofficial visit both on and off the court.

"They're a great program and they just switched to Nike, so that's cool," Egbuonu said. "The campus is nice, the coaches were really nice on my visit, and the gym was energetic. I went when they played Florida, and it was a packed house and the fans were crazy."

Georgetown continues to emphasize a relationship-driven approach.

"I have no complaints," Egbuonu said. "I like the coaches and Coach Cooley reaches out constantly, tries to figure out who I am, and even calls my parents. It shows they're family-oriented, and that means something."

Marquette, which hosted him for his only official visit so far, remains a serious contender.

"I know all the coaches and have a great relationship with them," Egbuonu said. "They value that connection. I like their principles, they're energetic in practice and family-oriented. When I went on my official it was Moms Night, so all the moms were there supporting. They got to talk with the coaches, and they did a fundraiser. It was pretty cool."
