Vaughn is incredibly talented, but I've heard that there are some personality quirks that might have turned off Gard and Shaka.  Basically he needs a big maturity step-up.  Gard and Shaka probably know him better than any of these other coaches, so that they're both out is telling.

The 247 site on Morillo is kinda humorous - it indicates that MU has nine (that's 9) shooting guards. No wonder we're poor rebounders.

Oregon and AAU people said he just kind of floats in games, would love to see some more fire in his games.

On3 recruiting rankings have 4 Wisconsin 2027 players in the top 100. Dooney Johnson(19),Donovan Davis(61), Jack Kohnen(68) and Kager Knueppel(91). Also three Illinois products in the top 100. Cleveland, Thompson and Davis. Could be a banner recruiting class for MU. There is a fourth Illinois product in Williams.

Within the last week, I heard an interview with Bouie.  He mentioned Alabama and Marquette, plus others are getting involved.  But like you said, I'm not sure how involved Marquette is at the moment.

Morillo and Egbuonu are definitely on the priority list. And at least one or two Scoopers say Marquette is still involved with Boyd.

Teams that attended today's Marquette team camp included Milwaukee Juneau, Slinger, and Warren Township.

Dooney Johnson was there (confirmed from source) and I assume Jack Kohnen and Jaxson Davis attended with their teams.

Freedom (Donovan Davis) was not there.  They played in a different HS team event.

Colin Rice, a 2026 soon to be four star from iowa, was also there and played really well with Shaka watching.  Wouldnt be shocked at all if we offer and ramp up our recruitment there.

White Rice™️ is visiting Nebraska today and has a visit scheduled for Northwestern later this month. Iowa is also involved.  Shaka can definitely compete with these teams on the recruiting front if Marquette gets involved.

The question isn't talent, but if Rice is a need based on skills and position  Egbuonu and Morillo are different players who may fit a need at Marquette.
