Conclude to whatever you will.  Just saying, we flew dwyane from Chicago, he went to the ceremony, then flew him to Boston.  I won’t say anymore on here with who paid what.  I’m sure MU and dwyane were smart about it

Super, super nice guy.  His wife is just as personable as he is.

I really want him. Think he would be a perfect fit on this team.

Hmmm. I am surprised anyone would fly from Chicago to Milwaukee unless it was an airline transfer. It's probably no quicker than driving.  On Sunday morning, one of my friends saw a huge limo speed by them on 94 northbound with a Illinois license plate number of "6".  She thought it might have been Dwyane and family in it.
Have some patience, FFS.

Or a private jet.

Perhaps Zaire was in it?

Yeah, but all the logistics involved with getting to the plane, etc. getting off the plane at the other end, etc., I am not sure you are actually saving any time door to door than if you took the limo directly from your hotel in Chicago to the Fiserv.

Chick,

I think the same offen.  Flew a guy to vail Colorado the other day.  The next day he wanted to fly to Denver to pick up his brother.  It would take 2 hours in a car.  The plane was full of snow and ice, and would have to be deiced at a cost of $4500.  That didn’t include the fuel, parking fees, landing fees, and time on the jet.

He choose to fly and get him...

17 minutes from Chicago executive to General mitchel.  It takes that long because below 10,000ft you have a speed limit of 250 knots.

I don’t think he owns a jet, but he definitely charters them.

I’m in no way saying he can’t afford it, but when a blind for the window cost $16,000, replacing ceramic brakes are $80,000, a phase inspection is north of 300,000, a fuel cap is $24,000, it’s stupid expensive.  I don’t know how anyone can justify it, but then again I don’t make very much money.   To some of us, if we take a vacation once a year and spend 4-5k that’s our limit.  To some owners, 2,000,000 is change to them.

What private jet company do you work for? One of the Residents I work with at the hospital is dating a girl that is a private jet pilot in Chicago.  He never has any stories about her flying celebrities though! LOL!

I believe the rules say former players and alumni can't communicate with potential recruits. So in the ridiculous world of  NCAA rules does that mean it's a recruiting violation if Dwyane talks to his son?

Given Wade's close relationship with Crean, does he also qualify as an IU and Georgia booster as well?

Zaire Wade is a junior. Under the new rules kids can start taking official visits as a junior. So couldn’t marquette/Zaire just have declared this an official visit and been allowed to pay for everything?

I guess it would just be a question of Zaire wade would want to use one of his 5 official visits on a school that isn’t actually recruiting him, but it’s not like he can’t afford to take as many unofficial visits as he wants.

How many sons of NBA players were as good or even better that their dads?

Edit: Sorry, did not want to highjack the recruiting thread.

rewatching the telecast, Wade sat with the announcers for a 4-minute segment.  Asked about Zaire wearing the letter jacket.  "He look good in it"

Also how is Pete Gillen still broadcasting?   You have an interview with DWade on Dwyane Wade Day, during a Marquette/Providence game, and your question for him is "What was Rajon Rondo like as a teammate?"

I agree. I thought that was an incredibly bizarre and stupid question.

I think we all can agree that Pete Gillen is pretty much the worst.

Have any of the 2020 kids given more clarity about their timelines for deciding?

Strawther sounded like he was looking to decide this spring, but haven't really heard much about his other visits.

Has Nimari Burnett cut his list or mentioned a visit schedule? Jalen Johnson? Polk? Sibley?

Have we had a visit from Dawson Garcia yet?

Given that Arizona was flying in all their lawyers last night, any chance Mannion is back on the market soon?
