Luke is going to play in these games, correct? I haven't heard much about his shoulder, but via the Facebook pics that MU posts it seems that he's able to practice.

Also, looks like Traci switched his number from 21 to 34. Hopefully he can be just as good as Diener.
Bring back FFP!!!

I think its good. Probably even better then before because I haven't seen him wear the shoulder brace at all.

My too early prediction, Luke will have a break out season.  He was guarding his shoulder last season and was in some instances avoiding contact all together.  He will be very strong in the post this year and will take a lot of pressure off Mr Carter.

Cool.  A couple of these over lunch time.

And a Sat / Sunday pair. I could mirror the Saturday game to my TV on Saturday. Maybe an egg bake breakfast with booooze? Could invite over Scoopers in the area... first drink at 8:30am, 11:30am tip

Might do the Sunday game from the man cave-garage.  Sounds like an excuse to fire up the smoker.  Can you say brisket and ribs?

So it seems that our trip was set up by the same group because we play the exact same teams starting the 16th and going through the 22nd of August.

Probably not. In the Twin Cities, they boil 'em first!  :-)

Unfortunately, there is a measure of truth to that.  With that said, there are a couple of really good BBQ joints up here.

Aside from Jake, anybody have any insight on the quality/talent level of these teams? Are they Italian pros, any former D1 players, etc.? And will fine Italian Vino be served during the games?

I am not making any of this up.

The first team we are playing, Haukar Basketball is from Hafnarfjörður, Iceland.  A town of about 27,000.  Their head coach is Ivar Asgrimmson.  One of their best players is a guy named Finnur Magnusson who played at Catawba College, a D2 school in North Carolina.  I was kind of surprised to see he has a Wikipedia page, but alas...

I'm thinking that Marquette is gonna win a couple games on this trip.
Catawba is an extinct North Carolina Indian Tribe.  Catawba College is in the town I am living in, Salisbury.  Their mascot is Indian Chiefs.

Also had an activist takeover recently. Famous Dave has a new spot I believe in Hayward, WI - Jimmie's Old Southern Smokehouse BBQ - recently opened after a one year non-compete with Famous Dave's expired.

Sorry, but we can pretty much just concede the game against Haukar Basketball.  Word is they just signed the Ivan brothers, formerly of West Eastern State. (One of the top 25 Universities in the west eastern United States).  I just hope that Luke and Henry don't get hurt.

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
