Kentucky. Not even a debate. If Wisconsin wins life as a Marquette fan will be hell. If Kentucky wins we all will have forgotten this in a month or so.

Wisconsin to win, and then lose in the Final and have UW-madison fans blame it on Wes Matthews mom.

Easy.  Kentucky on Sturday, then someone else on Monday.

Although this game could really use the asteroid option....

I'm still numb from the fact we could have had a Wisky,  ND,  LVille, Duke Final 4.

That said,  unnatural carnal knowledge Bucky,  unnatural carnal knowledge Pitino,  unnatural carnal knowledge MSU,  and unnatural carnal knowledge coach rat face.  Go Big Blue,  last time I checked MU owns UK anyway.

If UW has the stones to take out Kentucky and either MSU, UL, Duke or Gonzaga, my hat is off to them. They've earned it and I'm good with it.

Switch Duke with Syracuse and:

Go Sparty, I guess.

Kentucky gonzaga. With the zags cutting down the nets. If the badgers end Kentucky's perfect season it'll be a rough month.

Young guys here have no sense of MU basketball history.

But it is embarrassing if any of the older guys want Kentucky to win. I think back to the Rick Robey - Mike Phillips days. We were so much better of a team, but they would just beat up our skinny guys and yet we were the ones who fouled out.

I hate the Domers to no end, but I rooted for them to beat Kentucky. There is or can never be an instance to root for Kentucky.

Anyone but Wisconsin.  The only way I'd root for the Badgers is if they were playing the Einsatzgruppen All-Stars coached by a rehabilitated Pol Pot.

Marquette has made real inroads into Wisconsin recruiting.  I don't want to see that reversed with a Wisconsin national title.

I get nauseous thinking about the Badger fan breast thumping that would ensue.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Kentucky. I want 40-0. I'm always happy to celebrate greatness in my time.

I lean this way, too. I hate Bobby Knight, so I want a team to "one-up" his group.

Otherwise, Sparty because Izzo seems like the kind of coach I'd want my kid to play for.

Basically, though, it comes down to anybody but Bucky!!

I always hated Duke, but respected Coach K. Now that Wojo is at MU and Jabari is on the Bucks I don't really dislike them anymore. Plus they don't have that 1 player that is so easy to hate on this year's team like they always seem to (Reddick, Paulus, Battier, Jay Williams, etc.). I kind of like their team this year.

Have always liked MSU, partly because Izzo is a class act and great coach, partly because I've always loved Magic, partly because Mateen Cleeves had that contageous smile, but almost entirely because any team that beats up on the Badgers is cool by me.

I typically hate Cal and Kentucky but when Florida lost last year I was sure it won the Badgers a National title. When Harrison hit that shot (for like the 3rd straight round) I was incredibly relieved. Plus the Harrisons seem like well mannered and pretty like able kids, as did Carl Anthony Towns. And seeing 40-0 would be pretty cool.

I can't stand anything Bucky.

So to summarize, ABB. Anybody but Bucky.

I'd side with the team from Hell over UW, but that would be pointless since Bo's teams rarely beat themselves.

Plus they don't have that 1 player that is so easy to hate on this year's team like they always seem to (Reddick, Paulus, Battier, Jay Williams, etc.).

Was someone from the mid-90's previously on this list?  :D

With that being said though hoping for a Kentucky, Sparty final. I don't mind Duke as much anymore since Wojo took over. It also helped that my least favorite basketball player on planet earth graduated from Duke and doesn't play there anymore (Jon Scheyer)

I want Kentucky/Duke because I think it would be the best game. From a sheer entertainment value, that final would be best for college basketball.

Funny you mention that.  Last week (and again last month also) I had two people remark to me (knowing I went to Marquette) that they knew Wes's dad from back in the day in Bridgeport and was usually followed-up by but he didn't raise him, his mom did.

Goes all the way back to high school. Dont like GBN in the first place and he really mad that basketball team unbearable. Flopped more than Manu, complained more than Lebron, had that sense of entitlement that really just irked me to no end. Also dont know how he got into Duke. Kid was dumb as a rock.
