Luke had 6 points in the first 4:50.

He still has 6 points, even though he has repeatedly gotten the ball in the paint.

It is amazing that we have assembled two of the worst 3-point shooters in college basketball on the same team. At least Derrick knows not to shoot. JuJuan has to try one every now and then due to Carlino being out, but he is as bad as they get.

Whether it's Cheatham, Nick N or another recruit, someone who can shoot will play a lot next year in this Wojo offensive system. No choices now.

So, is the no Carlino = team plays better at offense argument still valid?

Small sample size either way, aina?

You don't think the players would notice if their senior leader was relegated to the bench?  I guarantee Juan is one of the best practice players.  What message does it send when you practice harder than everyone, yet see your minutes reduced when you're a senior?  Might be tough to recruit, retain and develop players at a program like that.

I agree with your premise, but I have no idea if Juan is a better practice player than sandy. You seem to know, though, since you guarantee he is one of the best practice players. I don't have that kind of inside info to make such a claim.

Which is why I would LOVE to have Carlino on NEXT year's team.  Oh well.

Great move and finish,  but this is literally the definition of poor court awareness.

If only he waited for Derrick to dribble the air out of the ball

We would have benefitted from having Deonte and Dawson in a game like this.

I'm not a really a derrick defender. Just was a funny post. Praise the guy for court awareness after going 1 on 4

The effort is there. Defensively we are not bad despite being undersized. Our issue is just a complete lack of talent. Need next year's class to be as advertised.

While it's usually not 40% bad. It's always pretty bad. No Matt makes this more reasonable

Derrick does need to sit and it's hard to figure out how he doesn't. Du is throwing the ball away, Luke doing nothing since the first minutes, and the rest of the team generally terrible.

Come back quickly Matt.

I find the divorce rate at 38% much more interesting, but yes I find these interesting as well.  Steve Taylor was great the other night.  Tonight, non-existent.  Sometimes guys step up, and sometimes they don't.

Doesn't matter. Duane and Luke are the only two who have proven their ranking and they are both underclassmen. Just watch the games. We have no players as talented as Davis, Bluitt, macura

I'd like everyone who argued that we were a better team without Carlino to please show yourself, and continue your argument here. WHERE ARE YOU NOW??? WHAT SAY YOU NOW?!?!?!?!
