Those should be mandatory for any Scooper 1 on 1 throw down. :-\

I am getting immune to such things.   Once, I would have been astounded at their ugliness.   Today, 'meh'.

See I love them. I would buy a pair if I had any disposable income

If you re looking for blue and gold colorway, just get some retro 4's.   Hands down the best Jordans of all time, and don't try to debate it.

Hallmarq

I might serious buy the Fountain Bleau's. As for the best Jordan, it has to be the black 96 or the white 97's.

The Air Jordan 6 is my personal favorite, but the 4's look pretty good in navy & gold.

These were issued a couple years ago for MU & Cal

Spot on.

The next best MU colorway IMO is

Jordan 1's (again for MU and CAL...could also be Michigan's but they're Adidas).

I have two: One to rock, one to stock.

I tried to get some, but they were a limited run and prices on eBay were insane.

Nike outlet in Kenosha had the Air Jordan Is in the Marquette colors. Even said "Marquettes" on the box. Pretty cool.

Never really understood the sneaker thing, why people drop hundreds of dollars on ugly shoes that will wear out in a year. I'd rather spend the money on a pair of Allen Edmonds.

BaltimoreMC

What Jordan shoes is Marquette wearing this season?

Haha, that's pretty funny. I wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of Jordans, and I still find this hilarious.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

I don't understand it either. Although at 34, I don't think I'm old enough for Allen Edmonds, but I'm definitely too old to wear Jordans.

It was tongue in cheek. I don't own a pair of Allen Edmonds either, but that would make more sense to me.

ChitownSpaceForRent

This whole things just speaks to generational differences. I had no clue what Allen Edmonds were and had to google them. While I would absolutely buy these if I had the money.

I'm only 28. I think spending more than $100 on basketball sneakers is pure stupidity, unless you are a college or professional athlete.

Decent athletic shoes all seem to be $100 plus these days.

Unfortunately, that is what has happened to some wearing any of these "fashion statements" and there are also those who cannot afford these who get them anyway ?-(

There are a lot of things that people spend money on that they can't afford.  Jordan's are pretty harmless compared to many items that would be on that list.  Not frowny face worthy IMO.

You are absolutely correct except this topic happened to be on b-ball shoes.  Except one minor detail-When someone's life is lost due to something that is on their feet, I wouldn't put it in the category of "pretty harmless" imo of course

I guess, but people get killed for all kinds of ridiculous things. I don't think that's a great reason to dump on some shoes a lot of people like.

A lot of people die for diamonds and they are way more expensive than Jordan's.  Got any diamonds in your house?
