We haven't discussed Luke much on this board. Very curious to see what people think his contribution to the team this season  will be.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

This year or for his MU career?  I say 0 and 0 through the first semester...

Johnny B

8-12pts 5-8 RB. depending on if he has a 3 ball.

Earl Tatum

I think Fischer's production will depend on how much Taylor plays up to his potential. Like I said on another
site Taylor is the key player on this team. Burton has to have help.

Defeatist...
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

GGGG

If he averages 20/10, he'll go to the NBA.
15/8 might make him our leading scorer.
I don't think he makes it to 10 ppg, but he'll more than 5 ppg.

Wojo'sMojo

I'm thinking 8pts and 8 rebounds per game this year.

MuMark

8 rebounds a game is an awful lot for a college player....especially 1 without a track record.

I will be pleased if he averages 6-8 points and 4 or 5 rebounds

WarriorFan

I would think 8 points 5 boards is reasonable and achievable this year.  With only 15 "big" fouls available (Taylor, Fischer, Anderson), I think foul trouble will limit all of them a lot of games.

What did he avg. last year at IU? Sure he is a year older but lets be realistic. Last year people were saying JJ would avg. 10+ points a game, how did that turn out?

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

bilsu

I voted 5 and 4. I think he will do better than that, but he will not be a 10 and 6 guy. I predict 6.5 and 4.5.

Daniel

I think if our point guard can feed the post Luke can do well. I'm going to say now though 7 points, 4 boards

I put 15 and 8 but answered it as if it's for his entire MU career.  I think it'll be more like 12-13 and 6-7, but there are some wide gaps between options.

It would be for this current season.

Marquette Fan in WI

I heard he injured his shoulder over the summer and that his shoulder problems go back at least until his time at IU. Can anyone confirm or deny this.

He's looked fine while on campus. Never seen him in a sling.

I think he elected not to have surgery for a torn labrum his freshman year and elected to do PT instead. It would not surprise me if he re injured it.

Bummer.  The odds are that it will happen again.

Who put 20 and 10?

I put 20 and 10. This is just an average.

He'll probably go for 40 & 20 regularly, but I was taking into account that he won't play for the first half of the season.
