power rankings
« on: November 22, 2006, 11:48:58 AM »
luke winn of si.com released his power rankings this morning, which i feel is exceptionally good timing.  we check in at #7, ahead of the mighty badgers at #9.  if we can avoid a let-down game, that MU-Wis game will just be huge.  oh man one game after duke and i'm already pumped to take down bucky...

McNeal will have to keep Tucker in check and Barro has to send some of Butch's shots back into the cheap seats. That said, this will be UW's first real test, while we have already had two. Bo should start whining any second now. Can't wait.

I think UW is a much bigger test for MU.

Duke was Duke but not the same team we usually think they are. Young, inexperienced, lacking height, injured PG...that's not Duke at all.

UW has the trees (which we don't; did ya catch Duke's Offensive rebounds?) and the senior leadership (which we lack).

This is as much a test for MU than for UW.

I think Duke's big men are tougher than UW's.... yes Duke got some offensive rebounds, but so did Marquette, Butch is weak, and likes to play outside (atleast last year he did, haven't seen a Badger game yet), with that said, I think Duke was a bigger challenge than UW will be, besides Tucker and Chris Rock(I mean Kammron Taylor), I am not too worried about the Badgers
