Wojo, Marquette Release Intriguing Non-Conference Schedule

Ohio State and Wisconsin for sure, Arizona State and possibly Kansas, Michigan State, Georgia Tech and/or Xavier.

Speaking of schedules, Marquette and new coach Steve Wojciechowski have released the non-conference match-ups.

November's not entirely impressive: Tennessee-Martin at home, Ohio State on the road (points here) Nebraska-Omaha, and NJIT.

The Orlando Classic could be challenging and a great opportunity to stake a claim early. Possible opponents: Kansas, Michigan State, Georgia Tech, Rider, Tennessee, Santa Clara and Xavier.

In December, Marquette plays Wisconsin, Herb Sendek's Arizona State, North Dakota and Morgan State.

Nobody plays every tough game they can, with the possible exception of Michigan State's Tom Izzo, but that's a pretty good start for Wojo.

choosing wojo has already paid dividends for mu.  being followed by duke automatically translates into national publicity.  now we just have to win baby!

He has some old info on Orlando.  Xavier is in Anaheim and Rhode Island is in Orlando.
