Whats Wojo's plan?

Wojo comes from Duke...one of the premier institutions in this country. A school known for its sterling academics. Doesn't it stand to reason that he would attempt to maintain those same high standards at MU? Especially when the previous coach was rumored to be taking some recent shortcuts.

Hope you can comprehend this...unless you're still busy trying to twist my comments and turn this into a black/white issue.

Ugh...not sure why we have to turn this into a racial thing.

Here are some thoughts based on what Duke does:

**Much greater emphasis on spacing, which a premium placed on outside shooting to create such space.
**Bigs that don't post up as much as they run the floor and can step out and shoot mid-range.
**More off the ball movement.
**Less emphasis on the dribble drive, although Duke has relied more on that in the last couple of years.
**A defense that sits back more and isn't as aggressive as we have seen under Buzz.  More of a traditional, help defense.

Pretty good analysis, Sultan. I will admit I have not seen much of Duke the last two years, but "a defense that sits back" does not fit their style from what I have seen over the years. They have been primarily very aggressive.

I can say with certainty that my middle school team was doing that long before Wojo was at Duke.  I think it is a very old thing.

You mean that same team that had Otule and Lockett playing while going to grad school? Ok...Currently being on campus they all go to class. I obviously dont know their study habits but they must be doing enough to pass classes. Plus you inferred this meant more white guys, dont pretend and back down like you didnt.

Yeah, I think you are correct about that.  Wojo mentioned in his interview with Hunt yesterday that he prefers a pressure type of defense.
