Well, the real Bulls point guard just sits out when he is medically played to clear.  Our point guard doesn't do that.  The Bull's point guard's lack of "muscle memory" causes him to not even have the opportunity to take shots at the end of the shot clock, because he's sitting at the end of the bench.  And he's played in about 5 games in the last 2 1/2 years.  So there goes that dig on Derrick.

Well, I was thinking of D.J. Augustin, the PG who is actually playing. And I don't see how that part of what I said is inaccurate.

Just think it's completely, incredibly, ridiculously sad, and somewhat disturbing, that we're in a thread about Jimmy Butler and a little scuffle he had in the NBA Playoffs and yet you still find the need to try to rip apart a 21 year old college kid. So just pointing out that while an NBA point guard may be better than Marquette's point guard (shocking idea, I know), the guy who supposedly is the best Bull since MJ just chooses not to play because he has no "muscle memory." So while Derrick may be limited offensively, at least he puts in the work and plays when medically cleared. Doesn't just hide when he might not make shots. But hey, maybe it's just me who thinks it's classless to find any place to take a dig at a 21 year old who is a million times more talented on a basketball court than I am, and hence playing division 1 basketball unlike me.

Jeesh ... it is just you. I was stating a fact. I wasn't trying to "rip apart" Derrick. I have stated many, many, MANY times that it isn't Derrick's fault that he was forced to play a role for which he was not suited.

What was the point of "stating [the] fact" in this thread? There is absolutely no reason to bring up Derrick Wilson, whether it is to compliment him or attack him, in a thread about Jimmy Butler and the Bulls.

and the Bulls really do play great defense (as opposed to MU, which just had a reputation of playing great defense).

Well, the Bulls are kind of living off their reputation right now.  They played great defense during the regular season, but its certainly lacking now.  The Wizards are averaging 100 a game through 4, the Bulls can't stop Wall when he tries to penetrate, and Beal is KILLING them. Then you add freaking Ariza going bonkers the other day, and its a world of hurt.

As far as Jimmy is concerned, the Bulls need some depth so he's not playing 46 minutes.  They also BADLY need a 2 guard, cause Heinrich in that role is just not working.

I don't think Buzz mailed it in to make a statement, either.   The only evidence of that is on this board by people who think he should have played the young guys more.
