Jon Horford from Michigan is transferring, eligible immediately.

A big guy we could use for a season maybe?

Celtic Truth

This would be great. We are obviously in desperate need of a solid big man to hold down the team until Fischer is eligible. And also to add depth even when we do have Fischer. Horford is big(6'10 250) and has good playing experience. He's definitely not an All American but a solid player.

Celtic Truth

He is also the brother of Al Horford, so the announcers could remind everyone about that around 10 times per game just like they do with Todd/OJ Mayo

Texas Western

Great opportunity .  He is restricted from going to a Big Ten. His dad played for the Bucks so some familiarity.

Nope. Not good enough

Will you be submitting to Wojo a list of players who are and are not good enough for him to recruit?

Given that the only returning post player is for all intents a freshman who can't play until mid-December, MU could do a lot worse than adding an experienced big body for a season.

Maybe it is the conditioning I have been put through the last couple years, but when I read his name in the title, I immediately thought to myself, "I wonder if he is related to Al Horford?"

In Wojo I TRUST.

And I trust him not to go after Jon Horford. What has he done at Michigan in 3 years? NOTHING

NBBomber

Horford would make a great one year roll player, at a position of need. I'd love to have him.

Tums Festival

Horford would be an excellent addition. Has big game and tournament experience plus played an important role for Michigan this year with Mitch McGary out all season and Jordan Morgan being foul prone. We wouldn't be asking him to lead the team in scoring, just provide solid defense and rebounding.

We R Final Four

Todd and OJ Mayo are brothers????

I wish the announcers would mention that.

It's hard to tell though....   clearly OJ was the alpha male and always stole food off of Todd's plate.

Showing my age but a good Tito Horford story.  He grew up in either Haiti or the Dominican Republic, went to school at Miami, Fl and was drafted by the Bucks.  He had never seen snow before so the first snow of the year he skipped practice because he was afraid to drive over the Hoan bridge in snow, Bucks assigned some low level employee to drive him when it snowed after that.

Cuonzo, what a shock you don't see the benefits here.

Frankly, anyone capable of betraying the Maize and Blue is suspect. Highly suspect I should say. No thank you.

EXACTLY

Jay Bee

Very good rebounder. Still fouls a ton, but he can be a great addition for a program if he stays healthy. Great kid.

14 mpg for an Elite 8 team.
Explain to me better options right now to play the post until Fischer is eligible, and back him up with Fischer can play.

Why not make a comparison?

Horford isn't one of those early graduates who would be able to play immediately, is he?

Is he even interested in us? Is Wojo interested in him?
