He wasn't so committed to the MU team concept when he tried to transfer.

I'm sure you know all that went on with that situation, then.

If Jake and Juan had stuck with their transfers, JJJ would've seen more time at the 2 and Deonte/Steve would've seen more time at the 4. Hard to argue we wouldn't have been better off or at least felt better off after watching the freshmen develop.

Think Juan is a great team guy...great kid...that is just a 1/2 to 1/4 step slow on the offensive side of the ball...he just can't quite beat a guy off the bounce...and as a result plays too fast for what his natural body/ability allow for, and as a result gets off balance going to the basket and can't square up well for good shot attempts.

I think Juan is a great end of the bench player that should get 5-15 minutes depending on how team is playing (if playing lifeless/dead), and then based on how Juan does in his limited roll.  If he's playing well, keep him on the floor.

Great glue/energy guy, and would best be used in that role..
"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."
