I also vote for Juan Anderson.  The early momentum out the gates is important.

Maybe he can finally start the process of shedding the label of "a poor man's Trent Lockett."

MauraDay

would vote for Gardner if not for his skirmish at the end.
So, Anderson for getting after it early.

muchamps

Gardner, would have had 30 if Buzz played him 5-6 more min.

forgetful

Jamil for best all around game.

And no Gardner...no SOTG if you pull a punk move.

JTBMU7

Jamil, scored and assisted a ton.... Love the aggressive play.

Also, Jake Thomas. 15 min, 6 pts, played his role perfectly. More of that please.

chapman

Juan.  Love the threes and the 5 steals.  The outside shots and that disruptive defense is exactly what this team hasn't had enough of.  IUPUI had 11 turnovers, and 10 were steals - have to get that as opposed to relying on a team to make unforced errors.

tower912

Davante DQ'd from the competition for ....as my 7-year-old's teachers put it.....making a bad choice.

Anderson and Jamil......Juan and 1A.

Juan.

I'm going with Juan but Jamil would be another good choice.  I love Juan's super quick hands and his hustle on D.  Today we added outstanding offensive production.  In Jamil's case, I thought he looked very effective running the point and played a great game.

GurneeHitchkr

Juan, with Jamil a close 2nd.

AZWarrior

Jamil.  Points, boards and assists.
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

Juan...5 steals is a helluva stat

+1

He's steadily bring the quick hands D.  Giving us 3-5 extra possessions a game.

MU82

I loved Juan's activity level all game and, of course, his 3-for-3 from 3 that set the tone of the blowout.

Jamil a fine second choice (and I wouldn't quibble about either he or Deonte being the first choice).

raul

Jamil, loved how he and Davante played off each other.

JA, but I went to snowblow at halftime.

rocky_warrior

Nod to Juan.  Davante DQ'd, and Jamil played well, but I expect that performance out of him for IUPUI.  *Hopefully* Juan can continue the momentum.

LOL....you gotta be kidding me? Poor man's Trent Lockett? Juan...? ROFLMAO.

How the unnatural carnal knowledge did Juan win this?

Seriously?

Why vote when the guy with the least amount of votes

And worst numbers. Wins it.

I suggest you boycott SOTG voting until this outrage has passed!!!

Seriously, he had a real good game on both ends of the floor.  He was a key part in coming out strong and basically putting this game away before the 10 minute mark of the first half.

Lighten up, Francis.   Juan did all his work early to get MU going.

Actually that's exactly what he is.

http://statsheet.com/mcb/players/compare?add=juan-anderson&p1=trent-lockett

Juan plays a little less....scores a little less...rebounds a little better...more assists...less turnovers...play very good team defense.  And Juan is playing the same position that Trent did last year.

We'll see how he holds up as the season rolls on, but either you are completely underrating Juan...or overrating Trent from last year.

Anyone else have a halftime blowin' experience?
