Just make sure he doesn't mistakenly transfer to UCSD.  The difference is unbelievable (no fun and no talent).

It came down to UCSD, UC Irvine and MU for me.  Vast difference, then again both those UC schools are top 50 in the nation so they have that going for them.

I've got a chromebook too. It is what it is. You can't install any microsoft office programs or anything, so you have to use google documents. I actually have come to prefer google docs because it saves to a cloud automatically, but without wifi you can't do much with the chromebook.

That was my fear and so I went with a Toshiba laptop.  Thanks for the info.

As I've said from time to time here over the years, SDSU has the most talent of any campus I have ever seen in my life and it isn't really close.  I have my theories, but so I don't upset the womenfolk they shall remain inside my tiny brain.   ;)

Can't argue with ya on that, a'ina?

Anyone know why the San Diego Chicken is a mascot?  Their is not one single bird or water fowl mascot in the SD area that could even come close to needing a chicken mascot

To get out of this state for awhile, to be perfectly frank.

I was between MU and SDSU.  Chose to stay closer to home.  I might have goofed.

Kindle Fire tablets also work the same way, but geared more to media.  Basically all apps/music/video/docs have "Cloud" and "Device" tabs so you can pull when needed.  Isn't too shabby for media, but Amazon does need to build up their app store since it's crap vs. Google Play.  Decided to go with downgraded Windows 7 over a Chromebook recently...needed anything to get off the craptacular Windows 8.

Man, this thread, deal-sealed by Chicos's post, puts ASU to shame.

I really wish my high school guidance counselor was a male (shakes fist violently)!!

And yea, Windows 8 blows chunks.  They forget the 'start' button.  And then release a patch to add it.  Aaaaaand it does absolutely nothing but take you to the "app" panel.  What a joke.  A very frustrating joke.

Always laughed at the "Tap to choose what happens" after installing something...they did realize they also put it on devices without a touchscreen, right?  My frustration was getting into the "Automatic Repair loop" several times where it fails in whatever repair it's pretending to do and then won't let you restore or recover because it can't find your user accounts.  Got tired of pulling the hard drive before using the manufacturer's restore option which just wipes everything.

My goodness is she attractive.  I've heard the name before, but have no clue why she's famous.  I used to think Marilyn Monroe was the most attractive woman who peaked before 1992.  Looks like she's got some competition.

BrewCity posted a picture of her earlier, it might have been overlooked in the collage of porn starts and slutes
I just thought she deserved another picture

Marilyn Monroe is an icon, but as looks go, she's not in Welch's league.  I'm not sure who after 1992 is.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

She'd be a lot better looking if she moved her arms when she walked.
