In watching the game yesterday on tv they did a quick pan and there looked like a large building was under construction with a large crane, etc.  What building is that and where is it being built?  Looked like 20+ stories if I had to guess.  White building

Thanks to Tom Crean's generous donations to the soccer programs, those are the luxury boxes they're building for the new soccer stadium.

Bummer, especially after running the table in conference.  Looks like all of the other high seeds have been winning their first round matches with ease.  Was their keeper injured?  Saw from the box score she wasn't in net for the first time all season, suppose that can mess with a team's psyche.

Different keeper or not you cant win when you dont score. Extremely disappointing game.

Western did a very good job of packing things in and frustrated the Warriors. MU had three solid chances to score in 2nd half and game away empty. Not sure if they looked past this game or not, but definitely a disappointing finish.

Amanda Engel was out with an injured wrist...but the goal, on WMU's only SOG I think was a sweet one.  WMU always pressed out and chased the ball to take away space and MU never really pushed the advantage effectively except for a brief spurt to start the 2nd.  Definitely tentative, and mid field play was allowed to be physical which was not to MU's strength.  Real disappointing.  In the post game video, Markus is a beaten man.

That said, I think this was a case of the new conference and scheduling working against MU.  A lot of cupcakes on the second half of the schedule so MU seemed to look past WMU to ND. Way too tentative.  In the past, I think MU recruited to play well in the BE to make the NCAA...they may have to step up that effort to recruit and schedule well late to win in the NCAA.

Needless to say, these past two teams were MU's best ever.  Congratulations on a great run!

UCLA won the title today (110th all time) over Florida State.  2 seed over 1 seed.
