Unable to log in

I am unable to log in on my I pad.  I get "an error has occurred !Guest, you are banned from using this forum."  I can log in on my laptop and i phone.  I changed my username and password, re registered, and got the same message.   Help?

A guess here  .. you may be using an IP address that's been banned, due to spamming.  We ban huge swaths of IPs from China.

Can you tell us the IP you are using on your ipad?

The address it's on now is: 192.168.1.68 (home)  However, when the problem began, I was on a network at a hotel.

That's your internal IP, btw.  Your WAN IP can be found here: http://www.whatismyip.com/

So .. the problem is gone?

Sorry.  Still have the problem.  Hopefully, this is the right ip:  108.238.140.180  Not real computer literate.

So .. how are you able to post right now?   Laptop?  Is your iPad on the same network as your laptop?  (And is the IP you just gave from your iPad?)

Next time you see the "ban" .. post in this thread the time, so I can check the logs.

Just tried to log in ad got the ban.  I have been posting on my laptop which is on the same network as the I pad.  The IP was from my I pad and is the same as the laptop. Thanks for all of your efforts.

Can't give step-by-step instruction since I don't have an iPad, but try clearing the browser cache and cookies, and try again.  That's got to be it because your IP is ok.
