Awesome!!! Now lets get Hayward back in the league!

Lakers roster now stands at 18, with them probably throwing this year because Kobe is injured maybe Djo has a half decent shot at making the roster.

Hayward is not getting back in the league. Probably in a sweat lodge somewhere.

Hahaha I maintain he will! It seems he's caught between the nba and nba dleague. Too good for one not good enough for the other.

Good for DJO, I love the way he plays.  Hope he sticks.

You know what I always wanted was for the crowd to chant "D-J-O, D-J-O, D-J-O, D-J-Oooooooohhhhh"  The first three DJOs really quick and the fourth one slower, with the "O" drawn out a la Rufio from Hook.

Rufio?  Anybody?

I think the thing that hurts DJO the most is that he seems to be a slow starter. His senior year at MU it seemed like he could not make a basket the first 7 minutes of a game and then he would go off. Assuming he needs to really get warmed up in a game to get into rythum, he is going to have trouble scoring in NBA, since he will not be on the floor long enough to get going.

My senior year we definitely did that in the crowd, though only two "D-J-O's". No one could keep beat but it never stopped.

Nope. He would always dunk with his right hand.

Not quite sure he's an NBA player just yet, but that was an NBA move.

I still think he has NBA strength and quickness.

He doesn't have NBA height.

Now, if he can shoot the lights out, he can mitigate some of the height disadvantage (on offense), and he's strong enough to hold his own on defense.

I really think it just comes down to shooting for him. He has to be able to make open 3's. If he can do that, he has a role on a team.
