Ya but when I see him putting up great numbers in the DLeague and NBA summer league it makes me think he never played to his potential while here.
That is because they ran that wheel....in the D-League they get out in the open floor and that is where Dwight thrives.

They did not run the type of offense for him and the ball was not always in his hands which for his game it has to be.

He gets lost off the ball at times if he does not have the ball in his hands. He has great hands and is a natural ball handler who can create for himself and break you down better then anyone who we have had here at MU.

And I think he would have been better playing away from home. To me he was distracted coming home.

This Hawkins guy obviously doesn't know what he's talking about saying Duane can score as well as any point guard in this class.  Hasn't he heard of Bronson Koenig?
He said "AS WELL" not better than or not only or exclusive. Read what he said!

And he is right...he can score "as well" as any PG in his class.

What does Bronson Koening have to do with anything?

source?

My point exactly, he upsets me because he's doing great now but was average for us.

"Doing great?"  Do you think that the French MVP is some sort of indication of a high level basketball player?

Last few American MVPs from France:

Blake Schib
Rick Hughes
Ricardo Greer
Austin Nichols
Marc Salyers
Dewarick Spencer

Any of these guys anything more than average in college?  Perhaps Greer at Pitt...

You see his Summer League numbers last year?
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Blake Schlib was the star of the last half-way decent Loyola Chicago team.

Maybe that should be in blue.
