Cards for sure.  They still have the Big East logo attached to their name, which helps our brand, albeit possibly a small boost, but a boost nonetheless.  Plus, I generally like Pitino.

You forgot the most important question.
Will MU be featured in any "one shinning moment" Scenes?  We certainly produced enough drama.

I am all in on Michigan, and a bit surprised about the poll results.

Louisville is gutter trash, coached by a piece of dog crap, abortion paying mouth breather.  F Louisville, F Kentucky, F your POS football team and your move to the ACC, and good luck staying relevant.

Pitino is a great coach - top 10 in college basketball history.  I really don't care about the guy's personal life.

I go to the VA 3 days a week. The PTSD Clinic is adjacent to the Prosthetics Clinic. The halls are filled with young men who are trying out their new legs and arms. Some are being fitted with two new legs.

Kevin Ware's injury was painful. There are thousands of young men hidden from view whose wounds are tragic. I am certain Kevin Ware is a nice young man. But his moment dims to darkness in comparison.

Don't get me wrong, Chick. I wasn't taking the piss out of you as I caught your pun. I was responding to the media circus Ware circle jerk. His injury was awful but it isn't nearly as bad as what it was made out to be. He'll be fine going forward.

I see young men at the VA who have never before shown fear sitting in a hallway in tears because they struggle with their new limbs and drastically altered life. I was in Diyala one minute then woke up in a hospital at Ramstein AB Germany. I felt sorry for myself until I walked around the ward and saw kids who had been mangled and deformed for life. Some you just knew would never wake up or leave that hospital alive. I made a mental note to remember that and never ever forget what I was feeling at that moment.

I worked about 2.5 years on the multi-trauma med-surg ward at Bethesda just before/during/after the Navy and Army hospital integration, and I had the honor and privilege of caring for our war-wounded men and women.  They're the main reason I became a Navy Nurse...I hated my nursing clinical rotations in the civilian hospitals.

As much as I love taking care of our Wounded Warriors, though, I'll gladly wipe old, obese butts the rest of my nursing career in exchange for our Marines, Sailors, Soldiers, and Airmen never getting hurt again...while serving, of course.  If you come into my glorified sick call of an Emergency Department for something dumb, I'm giving you some Vitamin M/Ranger Candy/Motrin and sending you home.

But yeah...getting back on track...While I did #PrayForWare, there are hundreds and thousands of our guys and girls coming back without any top Twitter trending hashtags...but that's okay...I just hope the American people don't need tweets or hashtags to remember and be thankful for their sacrifices.

Oh...and my bracket says Louisville (and I respect the hell out of them even if Ware hadn't gotten hurt), but a lot of my fellow Sailors are from Michigan...so Go Blue.  Between Marquette and the Navy, I have no shortage of blue and yellow gear.

For that reason alone, I will root hard against the maize and blue.

I also picked Louisville before the tournament started (I know ... I'm not exactly the only one), so I'm sticking with the pick.

I love Louisville.  They have been (along with Cinci early on) giving us legitimacy since 1996.  Sure we need less of it now in the BE & NBE but there were many times from 1996-2005 where UL was the best game on the sked.  Beating UL always meant something.  It didn't matter that the Charlotte 49ers might have been better, Louisville was Louisville.  I'm gonna miss them and I hope their final Big East game is winning a National title.

As much as I don't like Pitino, gotta go with a sendoff from the Big East.
Screw the Big 10.

And, in addition to that, Louisville knows where Marquette is. Every Michigan grad I've met has thought it was the town on the UP. So, I guess I'm going Louisville.

Louisville. Tired of hearing the crap all year about the superiority of the Big 10-11-12-13 (they cannot even get that right). BEast had two teams in Final 4 and 3 in Elite 8. Big 10 was good this year at the top, but not clearly superior to BEast. For instance, Syracuse kicking II2's butt, Marquette kicking Wisconsin's butt. Bottom tier of Big 10 (NW, Neb., PSU, etc.) just as crummy as bottom of BEast (SFla. DePaul)

Appreciate the perspective if anyone here thought Ware's broken leg was more tragic than a war injury.  Similarly I could point out that the outcome of tonight's game is pretty trivial compared to North Korea obtaining a nuclear weapon or the tragedy at Sandy Hook.  Now that I've cleared that up, go Cards!

Thanks for fixing us, LLRj! It's gotta be draining serving as you do. I don't ever have to prove my courage again but I cannot imagine what you see every day. Thanks bro.

BTW, Motrin is more correctly called ROMAD Raisins.
