I would love to see what their script is doing...this webpage is so slow to keep hitting over and over.  Guess I'll deploy my code to a few different machines and see if I cna get 2500 vote loops going on 3 machines.

They might have a delay written in so they don't get locked out.

We're losing about 0.01% points every 8-10 seconds.

Hitting that page.  Script is clearing cache everytime IE is re-launched.  Let me get a few more machines spun up.

Very productive day at work.

I am still befuddled how you guys are voting more than once.  I've cleared cookies, blocked cookies, opened in incognito with Chrome, FF, IE.  I've even disabled Flash and Silverlight, just in case they are setting cookies there.

The REALLY strange thing is that I've also tried using a proxy, which should give me a different IP.  Even then, that box comes up on the right that says your "profile number" .. which is always the same for me.  That's hella strange.  Can't figure out how the hell they know who I am, if I've disabled/cleared all cookies.

I think TallTitan suggest the votes "count anyway" but I find that hard to believe.  If the page comes back and says "you've already voted" .. there's just no way they count it, unless they are wholly incompetent.  -- Seeing the vote count increment simply means someone else voted and bumped the number.

I'm not entirely sure...but from scanning through the javascript and source code for the page, I compiled this url.

It says 404 page not found.  But, its the back end call to cast a vote.

Like I said, not sure entirely though...

EDIT: You can delete this...not valid in my opinion.

102.1 FM station in milwaukee gave all it's listeners a heads up at 10am saying that "If you're a Marquette fan, you might want to vote for Real Chili, you're only behind a few hundred votes"

So keep voting guys.

Austin TX was one of their targets... with their accuracy it will probably end up hitting Waco

I have been using the main link for the poll (first one on this thread) and then selecting "return to poll" right after the results show-up (located below the results).  When I do it lets me vote again and judging by the incrementing of the votes I believe my votes are counting.

Yes. Follow the main link (below) and simply click "return to poll" after you vote and vote again...

Voting after hitting "Return to Poll" does NOT work.   Don't bother.

MU should offer a full scholarship to a computer science major who can write a script to win this for us

I was able to vote twice, once today and once yesterday. I've also been sending the link to my Marquette friends on Facebook.

Baylor won their championship last night, this one is ours!

So I'm not sure if this is working or not.  My apologies, I did get dragged into real work this afternoon.

Basically created something that Deletes All IE files via command prompt "RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 255"

Then hitting this link http://answers.polldaddy.com/vote/?va=10&pt=0&r=1&p=7012692&a=31819099&o= and loops.

Like I said, not sure.  Its hard to gauge if we are gaining ground at all because my guess is other people are voting too.

But I have another script running that actually interacts and selects Real Chili and clicks vote button.

Back to work...good luck. I'll leave these running and we will find out at 5pm/4pm.
