Nice.  Down five with 41 seconds to go and no timeouts.  Nice.

We shall make our children learns the names and actions, like our forefathers did with UNCC....with Doc Rivers against ND....with Novak against ND....with Lucas against Wiscy.    It shall go down in the annals.

I like how the announcer says from 1:06-1:02 you don't need the three here and you don't shoot it well anyways......BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE J-Will with the pretty jumper for trey, and the orgasmic beautiful final minute goes on  :o

Anyone have the pomeroy win probability by possession before the comeback started? For some context, it would be interesting to know exactly how improbable it was for us to pull it out like that.

I have watched this about a dozen times tonight.

I'll be watching this like did with Jae and DJO's threes a couple years ago vs. Syracuse.  Just awesome.

El Duderino

It blows me away how often teams holding a lead like Davidson allows guys to get off any open threes, regardless if the odds are against the threes falling.

In situations like MU was in, pretty much their only slim chance left to tie or win inside that last 1-2 minutes is to make some threes. Trading two points from made free throws won't cut it.

If i was Davidson's coach or other coaches in that situation, i'd have had four defenders on the three point line and tell them to not sag into the paint or bite on penetration under any circumstances. Just stay in the grill of any player outside the three point line.

Any idea where I can see a replay in real time with no edits? Thanks.

I wouldn't call those open 3s at all.  The most open shot in the final 1:33 was the layup.

I wouldn't exactly call them wide open threes.

Only one by Wilson was, but i wouldn't have given Vander an inch of room to protect on penetration.

You can watch the full game over again.  I've already watched the last 5 minutes a couple of times.

Anyone see Gardner pull a Hayward on that inbounds pass after the made Davidson basket?

Watching it in real time, I remember thinking that it was close.   In the instant he actually makes the pass, he has only one foot on the ground and that one is out of bounds.   His in-bounds foot is off for about .2 seconds.     The right .2.

Witnessed it in person.  It's still a complete blur.  What sticks for me was how calm Vander was with 6.7 seconds.  Give me the ball and get out of my way.  It was like watching Hoosiers.
