That win was payback for:

- Lazar stepping over the in-bounds line
- Lopez' behind-the-back-sky-hook
- Novak's uber-rare missed open three look

- That b!tch Pondexter from Washington scoring on Jimmy at the last second.

I cannot believe we won the game. My wife came home from work after the second half started. She was watching the the game from the beginning downstairs. I turned the game off with 5:48 to go and told her to tell me when she got to the 6 minute mark and I would watch the end of the game with her. My way of thinking was that I was delaying the inevitable and I could share the last 6 minutes of missery with her. Unbelievable win. I hate it when Kansas wins games like that, but it sure is good when it is MU.

Hate it. Bad for my blood pressure.

I love games like this.

I watch sports for entertainment and to me, nothing is more exciting than close games and especially close games where the team i cheer for makes a late comeback.

That's also the reason why so many sports fans love this tournament each year. Upsets are not only common, so are late comebacks and last second situations. It's that all consuming tension and unpredictability which IMO makes sports so enjoyable.

Fine job young man bringing home a win with the good karma.  How's the back..again.   ;)

Bump.  Happy Five Year Anniversary (thanks for the tweeted reminder, Paint Touches by way of Armen Saryan).

Five years already? Jeez...Coulda swore it was like two or three seasons ago.

Fun to go back through this thread.  So many familiar posters saying familiar things.  Apparently, Buzz couldn't coach, either.

Buzz had players with an attitude. Have said it before, Wojo might be a better game coach than Buzz was at MU.

I remember exactly where I was too. Had a Chem lab for most of the game, not much work got done, pretty sure most of the room were watching the game on their phone.

My kingdom for a MU player that can shoot at a 48% clip from 3 point land.

OK Chicos -- where's the kingdom?????
