The dude had 6 points and 6 rebounds.  He did absolutely nothing to warrant saying what he said.  Say what you want, but it'd be like Ferguson having said "I don't like Notre Dame, I play mad and therefor go off when I play Notre Dame" after we beat them at the BC.

I think it should be pointed out that one of the offensive rebounds he got, however few they were, led to the biggest shot of the game for them. Connie hit a three to go up 7 with a couple minutes left...that hurt.

But yeah, Cooley is annoying. His excuse for scoring 0 in 15 minutes against us at the BC was 'illness' even though he didn't look that 'sick' to me. Sad, yes, but not sick.

Cooley hates MU as much as MU hates Cooley.    If MU had shown up for the last 35 minutes on Thursday, he could have just sat and cried alone.  But he showed up just enough and MU didn't so he has temporarily earned the right to run his mouth.

You can hardly blame Crean for not talking to him.   MU was so back-logged with bigs his last few years that Cooley would never have seen the floor.

Add to it that Cooley wasn't a highly regarded prospect so its no shock that Crean didn't break down the door to their suburban Chicago mansion. Cooley was a throw-in recruit for most schools and its a credit to Brey he's gotten what he has out of him after being virtually useless his first two seasons.

Be careful what yoy wish for.  My buddy was on espn at a cubs game holding up a sign and all of my friends whited out the sign and replace it with stuff like "I like dudes".  Espn is a very dangerous place to be seen.
