*We CANNOT let Dayton in the new conference
*We HAVE to let Gonzaga in the new conference (they're awesome)
*We CANNOT let Gonzaga in the new conference (they're too far)

*DePaul, Providence, Seton Hall, and SJU suck now and need to start carrying their weight.  However, all of them will be good next year.

This is a dangerous thread .. imagine if we put the kybosh on any thread with a Scoopism, since, you know, each of them have been debated to death.

- We need to recruit big east veteran freshmen.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

This one has been around through multiple coaches.... "Our zone offense sucks"

We can't recruit bigs/(mentioned by ChicosBB)
It's a guards game.
The weather in Milwaukee is not conducive to recruiting.
The NBA facility in Milwaukee is productive for recruiting.
The JayBee hotness standard for, well, country western singers, I reckon.
The student section sucks.
When I was at Marquette beer flowed freely down Wisconsin Avenue (did you know the drinking age was 18?) and we slept in the rain, while toking on bongs, just like Woodstock, to get a ticket to the wonderful venue known as the Arena, which was way better than your fancy pants BMO Bradley Center.

My favorite scoops are about MU prospects and recruiting efforts.   My least favorite are the negative scoops.

My answer depends on which board.  Of late, it's been the TC board despite 5 years of water under the bridge and our own success...so I'll give you my favorites there

:)
1) Crean is Hitler or some variant one degree less inhumane
2) Crean couldn't recruit
3) Wade, Novak, Diener, etc are stupid people because they defend Crean
4) Crean will be fired before year 5
5) Is Crean in trouble and about to be fired?
6) Crean's wife is ugly and looks like a man
7) MU losing in the Final Four was the greatest tragedy short of the Holocaust and caused by Crean, not the 31% shooting the team did
7b) The NIT loss to Western Michigan was the second greatest tragedy, short of only the Holocaust and the Final Four loss and should not be viewed any differently than those years in which we made no tournament at all (most of the Dukiet and KO years)
8) It's not that he left, it's how he left.
9) It's Indiana, It's Indiana
10) Crean won only because of Dwyane Wade

For when the rest of the time when obsession mode is turned off here

1) Just go get a quality big man
2) Wade is a traitor for wearing IU shorts?
3) Traditionals = racist comment because it MUST mean white only players
4) Buzz to Texas
5) KO is someone you could have a beer with, therefore he's a great guy
6) Facts be damned
7) Why you Hooping
8) Redshirts don't exist any longer
9) Vander should be drafted in the NBA after his junior season
10) Poll ratings, especially preseason, are rock solid, iron clad predictions from the heavens

Are you trying to be cute? Is this supposed to be serious? Your perception of reality is way off if you are. Almost all of those I have never seen,or ever seen frequently enough to be considered an "ism".

It's pretty clear your defense of Crean starts from a delusion that he is straight up persecuted on this board. Which is untrue.
“All men dream; but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act out their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.” - T.E. Lawrence

This.  I love this.

Ah, those halcyon days of yore. When the wine flowed freely and was sweet. Our mead had just a hint of honey and was available to all. And no gathering was complete without a bit of herb to give new perspective on an unfolding reality that augured peace and harmony. For Jupiter had aligned with Mars as sympathy and trust abounded. The poet, the physician, the farmer, the scientist, and the magician joined hands and melded hearts and sought new and better ways to live as one and in unity with the flora and the fauna. Our freak flags flew as the breeze carried to us the wisdom of the new Bard. Fair maidens danced with floral tiaras atop golden tresses as nymphs catered to our carnal urges. We copulated under the stars as the mysteries of the universe were revealed to us in those moments of orgasmic transcendence. We were the new royalty, masters of our domain, and our tribe was known as the Warriors.

Buzz to [most recent school who fired their coach] is my very favorite. I think we're just at Buzz to USC right now, but the offseason is my favorite time for that.

Hot right now

If you think it's a problem that MUScoopers can't drop Crean 5 years later, you're the one that has the problem.

Current students are lame, and past students were awesome.

Old alumni are lame, and current students are awesome despite having more to deal with.

This season if a thread didn't turn to a Crean thread it would turn into a does Otule have eligibility and is he coming back? Last year every thread turned into a conversation about how Todd was actually older than Vander. The old stuff ruins threads
