I have been following Marquette basketball for decades and Blue's clutch performance at the end is now part of the lore. A shot to be savored, relished, shared.

A shot that will grow more and more legendary with each passing year.

Vander

My take is that this is Buzz' most important coaching job ever. I said a year ago that for Marquette to be a destination university, he had to coach Vander to be what everyone thought he could be.

Buzz has done that. Congrats to Buzz and the guys for the Big East championship, now it's on to New York for the tournament and our rightful place as a 2 seed in the NCAA.

Vander was the "difference maker" in this game and should be the MVP for the season!!!

If MU hadn't given away that 9 pt lead, I might say Wilson.   Since they did, and Blue got the buzzer-beater........Blue!
I had it teed up for JWill and then Stevie. Then OT happens and Vander does his thing. Gotta love it.
