Milwaukee Alum - Watch Tonight's Game Together
« on: November 20, 2006, 10:49:41 AM »
question for the board...  Where is everyone going in the milwaukee area to watch the game tonight.  I was thinking Champs, but never have been before and don't know how crowded it gets.  Can anyone give an idea on how early to get there or if there is a better place to watch the game.

thanks

thanks for the bars in the area.

can you help me with any idea how crowded champs gets for the games and how early one would have to get there.  i have never been there before so don't know the size of it.  however, living in the burbs, i would rather try that then battling the huge crowd at the annex on campus.

Hey MU gimp One...

We had the same question.  Actually, Champps gets so busy for MNF games and it's also so big it's hard to convene a good MU crowd in one area...so, I sent out the following to my group...pass it on if you'd like!

*************
MU Alum...let's watch the game tonight! Steve's on Bluemound (58th & Bluemound). Game starts at 8:30 central time, on the ESPNU network.

Thanks for posting BW...I merged the two threads (but kept the subject of the new one) just to keep this all in one place.

FYI - Zim's on Milwaukee Street (new sports bar) is also a GREAT place to go for games...but they don't have food yet, so Steve's was selected as an all-around good choice.  Come out and cheer MU on!
