Sultan Sighting
« on: February 22, 2013, 03:19:02 PM »
http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=193&f=2565&t=11305444&p=2

If anybody is interested, I was visiting the Wisconsin scout board and found a thread regarding MU attendance that Sultan posted in.   Pretty sure it is the same guy, as he expresses a dislike for Doddsie.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Rocky gave him a timeout a week+ ago.  Sultan took umbrage at the episode, and said "delete my account."  (We didn't.)

He left? What a shame. He was always so nice and helpful and not at all a complete prick in every single post he made.

Truly, he will be missed.

Hadn't you noticed the board has been refreshingly free of strife and conflict? It is amazing we are surviving without someone there to correct our many faults.

I like Sultan. Didn't always agree with him but never found him to be snotty. Course, I always approached him with respect unlike many others.

In fact, there are about 15 people I'd expect to go on vacation before Sultan so I can only imagine what kind of episode it was that precipitated the time away.

Well, his name is no longer listed as a member which is strange if the mods did not cancel his account.  Maybe he is here under an alias.  mods?

Same

He's knowledgeable and brought a ton of good info to the board.

We've got very tolerant mods.  He got a time out for a reason. If he chose to take umbrage, that attitude probably underscores why he we was sent to his room.

I hope to see him back.

Lets start a poll on what new name Sultan will come back as.  Sultan of East Wayne?

Ha! I had wondered what was going on.

IWB's board is all he's got left. Will be interested to see when that goes south.

There were actually several PM's going around on his disappearance so it was noticed. It is only a matter of time before he wears down the man with more contacts than Bausch & Lomb. Funnily enough, Ganzer's star as a guru faded the second he set up his own board. Dodds turned on him faster than the French army fighting the Wehrmacht.

It appeared that Sultan was getting sick of all the stupid on this board and lost it a little bit. Whenever MU loses or plays poorly, this board can be tough to read for anyone with even a moderately high basketball IQ. He may have just had enough.

FIFY. It seems that as the seasons go on, this board becomes more and more bipolar.

You can't moderate stupid.

Well, you can, but it would be a full time job.
