Nothing to get over on that one.  That is a great video.
And she is in the new SI Swimsuit issue, in case anybody didn't know.

I always find it pathetic when old people don't get things and then ask for the apocalypse

I love when they point out how wild and crazy they were when they were students and complain that students today aren't.  Then when students do something like this, they complain because it isn't the 'version of crazy' that they grew up with.  Let the kids have fun.  If you don't like it, fine, but don't complain about it.  I'm sure your parents said that things were going to hell when you were out partying or whatever.

Canned Goods n Ammo

I thought it was really cool.

They took some current from the internet, and put an MU spin on it and did it live at a game.

Nice work.

+1

It was more impressive in person. Well executed. Students and MUAD should be praised for this.

Been doin' it for years. Only we call it The Quon shake.
I thought in the Quonset they called it 'the DT's'.

"Back in my day, each of us drank a case beer on the walk over to the game. None of this 'taking the bus' crap. We walked through (And of course they tell you the weather was at or around zero degrees every time with a 2 foot snowstorm). Then afterwards we'd celebrate by drinking a fifth of whiskey on the way back. If you passed out in the snow, we'd left ya. It toughened you up. Made you more of a Warrior. Then ate a (insert restaurant/establishment that is now closed), which is a heck of a lot better than what you kids have today on campus. And did a naked beer slide for every point MU scored that game.

"Back in my day"..."We use to drink a lot harder"... " Kids don't know how to party",

Why, as a matter of fact, yes...we did drink harder and really knew the meaning of party!

Maryland killed it.

When you see that kind of organization amongst students it puts what we have in the Bradley Center into perspective.

WarriorInNYC

Wait, are you saying there were others that did the Harlem Shake before the student section did?!?!? I am outraged at the unoriginality of our students!!!!

But in all seriousness, I thought it was very well done.  Seemed like they were having a lot of fun doing it as well, made me miss the good 'ol days.

So if I have this right... something called the "Harlem" Shake was created/popularized by a bunch of white frat boys in a dorm room, and now it's the current craze?

Thank God this generation of kids wasn't born in the 1910's & 1920's.  Imagine having to read a 200-page scoop thread about how Crean-san should jump off Mt. Fuji for dishonoring his loyal employer.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Acutally they were white surfer/skater kids, in a flat.

No longer current, everyone is over it already.
It amazes me how short these fads are nowadays.  This harlem shake thing did not come on the scene till like February 1st.  It is only 28 days later and it is already played out and nobody is making films anymore.     Youtube has made what I like to call "Microfads"  It used to be that fads lasted at least a year or two.  Now they dont even make it a few weeks
