The answer to all of this is simple. Gonzaga needs to move to Detroit. They can trade with Detroit Mercy. Then the C7 will get the Detroit media market, perfectly located travel location, and a great team.

This makes as much sense as schools traveling cross country for field hockey games.

The best arrangement would be for the new big east to schedule 4 games with Gonzaga (2 home and 2 away) as an OCC game every year with the conference, Fox and Gonzaga determining which would be the best marquee games for that season.
