Absolutely not. But that doesnt mean we are playing well

If colgate can stay within striking distance in the 2nd half I will be very nervous.

Good: Wilson looks great
         Otule seems fine with knees
Gardner, well is Gardner.  Team plays so much better with him in.
Lockett started out good, but sort of disappeared.
         D. Wilson got minutes, but no points.
Created 14 turnovers, with only 4 for MU

Bad:  Vander looks terrible, 1 for 6 and sat on bench a long time.  Thomas took his minutes.
        3 point defense again.

Know its first game and all, but MU should destroy this team in second half.

See what happens with 3 point shooting and just plain outside shooting because the first half was not very good in that.  MU had like 80% of scoring from inside.  Teams will just zone them.

Lets see what happens.

We're up by 11 at the end of the first half in which we went 10 players deep. Relax. They'll settle down and things will start to come together more fluidly.

I'm calling it now.  DG - MU's best defensive player.  I mean, did you see him take that charge early?

And yes, he sure looks great on offense.   ;D
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

Did Otule sit out with a knee injury last year or was that a cover for going to Europe to ball a little?  Does not look tentative or rusty at all.

Using this game as a barometer is silly.  MU is better, knew they were better going in, and are winning based on talent and size.  This won't always be the case, and we'll have to see going forward how MU looks against like opponents.

But if they continue to give up layups on defense and show no signs on any outside shooting, the better teams will not have mercy.

BTW, Lockett is going to be a nice player for this team.

Otule may be our best offensive player so far. (Wilson excluded)

8 for 15 from free throw line.  53%.  Here we go again?

Now Anderson hurt shoulder.  Hope its not the one just repaired.

Bottom line our front court is the best since 94. Our backcourt average. Would like to see more playmaking outside of transition.
