John Dawson POSTERIZING DUNK at 2012 Best Buy Summer Classic - NEW MARQUETTE COMMIT!!!

John Dawson (Class of 2013) is a 6'3" guard from Clovis High School in New Mexico and plays AAU basketball with BYC Elite. On September 26, 2012, Dawson committed to play college basketball for the Marquette University Golden Eagles. Footage is from the 2012 Best Buy Summer Classic on July 21st as Dawson goes up for the posterizing slam dunk over a Wisconsin Jets defender.

Not sure I would label that as "posterizing." The defender was behind him when he threw it down--I always associated the act of posterizing with making a defender look like a fool. Now if you mean the dunk would look great on a poster...sure, why not.

I don't classify this as a posterizing dunk, it was nice but the guy was trailing him.  I think for a poster you need contact and a strong flush. I'm not knocking his dunk, I'm just knocking the title.
