Mrs Warthog and I were going to attend but we heard they were serving domestic champagne so we of course took a pass. Not many retired Air Force Colonels invited to that "Brunch." The Obama crowd tends to look down their noses at hairy, smelly, foul-mouthed aviators who reek of single malt and Cuban cigar smoke and cheapened themselves by serving in the military. I hear Barbra Streisand and Harrison Ford were there, though. Ed Asner could not make it, unfortunately, as he was fomenting a people's uprising with Danny Ortega somewhere in Central America.

You don't see the rest of us thumping our chests every chance we get about what we do, so maybe take it down a notch.

If you have known him for a long time (I'm assuming that your not 17 now), and you are an MUBB fan (I'm assuming you are b/c you are on this site), and you don't know how he feels about MU hoops, we should be a bit concerned.

No- sorry - don't claim any inside knowledge -  my point was just that it seems really off that the poster who knows the new chair doesn't know I he is a fan of MUBB.  Doesn't mean he won't support the program and be good at his job.  Just surprising, and that's probably how I should have put it.

It's hardly constant, but it is pretty awesome. Any reason to rip him about it twice in the same thread?

Amazing how fast an interesting thread can degenerate into crap. 

Good to know that we might have a good addition to the BOT. Our navigation of the BE disaster and near to mid-term management of our hoops program will have big implications for the University as a whole.
