Interesting article about a paper presented at the Sloan Sports Analytics Conference:

Enjoy, nerds!
Have some patience, FFS.

My money's on either the offensive rebounder or scoring ball-handler ;D

Hopefully she's not a "volume scorer"

this is probably why we do not have that many members who openly state they are a woman on the board.

Here I've been calling it kuma satra all these years.  No wonder it wasn't working.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

You guys are BOTH wrong!

And all of you obviously missed my post about how girls played in Tennessee.  I had a non-scoring position.  I just guarded the goal.   ::)

I've played hockey against a couple Tennessee collegiate teams.  Their goalies were horrible.  We had guys on our team who could barely skate, and even they were scoring at will.

There's not a lot of ice in Tennessee.  Nashvile didn't even have an indoor rink (or at least, not one that was open to the public) until about 1980.
