Won't have to entertain any more silly discussion about runnin' the table.

but that could happen!

It was MU's 3rd game in 7 days - with the last two games on the road, legs could have been a bit tired.  Hopefully the Warriors will show up on Saturday.

Our last two losses were at Notre Dame and Cincinnati. To me the Notre Dame loss was less indication of a problem. They shot the lights out from three and usually you lose if the other team is shooting well from three. The Cincy team was terrible from 3 last night, but ate us alive underneath the basket offensively and defensively. Tired legs hopefully, but what got us in trobule early was bad passing. We were never mentaly into that game last night.

If we had tired legs last night, having not played since Friday, I shutter to think what their legs will be like on Saturday.

Shutter the doors shut, too, dude!

But I like the idea of tired legs and our loss of Otule and DG was exposed last night.  We got killed underneath and Jae and JW can only do so much for so long. Mayo and Blue have to look more for and MAKE their shots and they must block out and rebound more. We looked tired last night, should have pressed the entire game but even when we spend that energy, we have to convert and that the Warriors did not do.

Georgetown and a full house at the BC on Senior Day should be just what the doctor ordered......
"I went into a restaurant one night and ordered lobster, and the waiter brought me one with a claw missing. He told me that in the back there's a tank they keep the lobsters in and while they're in there, they fight and sometimes one loses a claw. I told him to bring me a winner."  Al McGuire

Positive thought: At least we're not Illini fans!

Both the ND and Cincy games had a common element: JWilson in early foul trouble. This could have been mitigated with Gardner. Really need him back to make a tournament run, otherwise we're playing by the skin of our teeth and are just a more athletic/talented version of the '10 team, which had a definite ceiling.
